After a career producing theater, I turned my attention to my own writing and fell in love with the wonder of children's books.

Born and raised a California girl, I now live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband, two children and rascal puppy.

I have degrees in English and Theater Studies from Duke University.

When not writing stories, I love devising inventive activities and adventures for kids and sharing them on my Instagram feed.

The Happiest Kid is my first book. I have many more stories to tell.
